HOW DO I GET A CAP & GOWN? HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The Graduation Cap & Gown is FREE to current graduates and is available in any Navarro College Bookstore. Pick up your Spring 2024 Commencement Cap & Gown and Neck Wallet from April 15, 2024 – May 03, 2024.
The Neck Wallet is a new product available to graduates this year. Your neck wallet will have your check-in ticket, stage name card, and photo name card. Wear it under your cap and gown on commencement day!

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY DIPLOMA?Please allow 3-6 weeks for processing. All diplomas will be mailed to the address listed on your graduation application.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE CEREMONY?Cap & Gown and Neck Wallet. Dress is business casual. Approved stoles can be purchased at the Bookstore.
It is HIGHLY recommended that footwear is strongly considered when deciding attire, as graduates will have to walk from Gibson Hall to the SEC.
Comfortable shoes that are capable of withstanding various terrains to include but not limited to concrete, gravel, asphalt, artificial turf, wood, grass (potentially mud or standing water) and synthetic rubber is highly recommended.

You made it to graduation and now it is time to celebrate and walk across the stage!
Here is what to expect on the day of your commencement ceremony:
Graduates will line up at the Louis Gibson Hall, Corsicana location (see building #38 on map) and will lead in a procession to the Wolens Special Events Center (see building #33 on map) and then be seated in the gym.

PARKING INFORMATION
Carpooling and pre-planning for traffic is highly encouraged. Alleviate stress the day of by considering you and your family's parking plan and route before the big day.We encourage you to carpool and anticipate long lines for parking. We expect a large crowd of guests for the ceremony, so be sure to pack your patience!
Special Events Center (SEC)
Once the SEC reaches capacity, guests be directed to view the ceremony via Livestream in the Dawson Auditorium. Building #29 on the map.

Graduates arrive to the Louis Gibson Hall entrance at Corsicana location in ONE HOUR prior to your scheduled commencement time.

The Office of Dual Credit Program will communicate with students about which ceremony they will attend. |
Look for the signs and be aware parking will fill quickly, so consider carpooling.
3 STOPS TO LINE-UP
FIRST STOP***Arrive at the Check-In Station ***HAVE YOUR CHECK-IN TICKET READY!When the graduate arrives at GIBSON HALL (Corsicana location, building #38 on map below), they will check-in with their ticket. Graduates should have two tickets in their Neck wallet:1) NAME CARD - Name Card will be left with the photographer.
2) STAGE CARD - VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO LOSE! This card will be handed to the announcer when preparing to walk across the stage.- This card will be used by the announcer and have the graduate's printed name, degree, and honors (if any)- The Academic Program listed on this card will coordinate with the line-up group.

SECOND STOPPHOTOGRAPHYVisit the Photography stop for your photo! Have your order form and PHOTO NAME CARD ready to give to the photographer.
1) Professional photographer will take your photo for purchase.
2) Provide your completed order form and Photo Name Card.

THIRD STOPGROUP LINE-UP TIME! Look for volunteers to assist you in finding your academic program line. Be sure to know what line you are in (on your STAGE CARD) and find your group. Congratulations 2024 Graduate!
